
Tahini Swirled Brownies
The brownie you grew up with grew up! The Tahini gives these dense chocolate delights some umami umph. Whip these up in a hurry next time you’re craving some deep dark chocolate!
Ingredients:
1 C Tahini
2 Eggs
1/2 C Sugar
1 t Vanilla Extract
1/3 C Cocoa Powder (preferably high fat for extra dense!)
1/3 C Dark Chocolate Chips
2 T Flour
1/2 t Sea Salt
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 F
In a bowl, mix 3/4 C Tahini, Eggs & Vanilla Extract. Fold in the Cocoa Powder, Sugar, Salt, Flour and mix. Fold in the Chocolate Chips.
Pour the batter into a 8x8 inch Pyrex. Dollop 1/4 C Tahini in separate balls on top of the batter and spread into a pattern with a toothpick.
Bake for 20 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out dry.
Allow to cool before cutting into squares
Serve with a scoop of TruJoy Yogurt!
