Tahini Swirled Brownies

The brownie you grew up with grew up! The Tahini gives these dense chocolate delights some umami umph. Whip these up in a hurry next time you’re craving some deep dark chocolate!

Ingredients:

  • 1 C Tahini

  • 2 Eggs

  • 1/2 C Sugar

  • 1 t Vanilla Extract

  • 1/3 C Cocoa Powder (preferably high fat for extra dense!)

  • 1/3 C Dark Chocolate Chips

  • 2 T Flour

  • 1/2 t Sea Salt

Directions:

  • Preheat oven to 350 F

  • In a bowl, mix 3/4 C Tahini, Eggs & Vanilla Extract. Fold in the Cocoa Powder, Sugar, Salt, Flour and mix. Fold in the Chocolate Chips.

  • Pour the batter into a 8x8 inch Pyrex. Dollop 1/4 C Tahini in separate balls on top of the batter and spread into a pattern with a toothpick.

  • Bake for 20 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out dry.

  • Allow to cool before cutting into squares

  • Serve with a scoop of TruJoy Yogurt!
